Together let's clean the Tiber!
A concrete testament to the company's commitment to a sustainable future
What does sustainability mean for us? It is the conviction that everyone's action is fundamental to the construction of a new model of society. For this reason – as a leading company in the production of sustainable packaging – we recently collaborated at the event" Insieme puliamo il Tevere "or "Together let's clean the Tiber” organised by the non-profit association Piu Blu Italia and sponsored by the city of Rome, with the aim of cleaning the river from plastic waste.
A significant contribution to the achievement of the 17 objectives of the United Nations' Agenda 2030.During the event, the company honoured volunteers with bioplastic backpacks, an environmentally-friendly and green material, containing the piublu kit (gloves – shirts) used during the day, demonstrating its commitment to environmental responsibility that goes beyond sales and commercial profits.
The Tiber is not only one of the most important Italian rivers, but it is a significant symbol of our own culture. The initiative was an enormous success, thanks to the active participation of volunteers who, coordinated by the rowing club of Rome, were able to clean up the river of waste that not only degrades its appearance but threatens the surrounding ecosystem. The event thus restored an important natural resource for the Roman community, laying the foundations for greater environmental awareness.
